Psychiatric interventions include pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, psychoeducation, empowerment program, selfmanagement training, stress management, and biofeedback etc. A multidisciplinary team approach, including physicians, mental health professionals, nurses, dieticians, pharmacists, and others, is needed for diabetics with some Psychosocial issues.
